And they may decide that they would actually rather do something else other than remain physical,

So the idea of being physically immortal while it’s not impossible is relatively unlikely just because of the various things that there are to choose from that might actually be more exciting.

Now many people on your planet can be much more long physically lived,

It’s just that most people will actually not choose physical immortality,
